Noah's Ark

sold

The story of the flood and Noah’s Ark leaves room for imagination and visualization. In this Waterful, Noah’s Ark is recreated from the perspective of a child’s fantasy with a game-like experience that displays one of the oldest stories passed down through generations. The story of the flood, relayed in the book of Genesis, closely parallels the story of creation: a cycle of creation, un-creation and re-creation. In the beginning of the book of Genesis, God creates the three-level world as a space in the midst of the waters for humanity to inhabit. In the flood narrative, God fills that space with waters again, saving only Noah, his family and the animals with him in the ark. The flood story in Genesis is repeated in various historical and religious texts such as the Quran, where the ark appears as Safina Nuh (Arabic: سفينة نوح‎ "Noah's boat”). Talmudic tractates relate that, while Noah was building the ark, he attempted to warn his neighbors of the coming destruction, but was ignored or mocked. This story reflects today’s reality. Humanity has been warned for decades of the impending threats facing our environment. Will we be able to re-create our planet in the face of destruction?
